HISTORY

A story of passion

Vincenzo Caballini from Sassoferrato moved to Conegliano in 1949 with his wife Elisabetta, to follow his dream of managing a coffee roastery. The history of a family and a city are inextricably linked: the Caballini Counts of Sassoferrato, Elisabetta and Vincenzo, took over Dersut Caffè in Conegliano (Treviso), a small coffee roasting company established only two years earlier.

HISTORY

Triveneto Coffee Roasters Group

Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia became points of reference for Italian coffee companies during this period: in 1954 the Triveneto Torrefattori Caffè Group was founded, of which Dersut was a founding member; it is still active and has expanded to include all of Italy in 2015.

HISTORY

Coffee Shops Project

In 2002 the first Bottega del Caffè Dersut shop was opened, from which other types of single-brand coffee shops came to life in the following years: Italiana Caffè and Giornale&Caffè.

HISTORY

Coffee Museum

Looking to the future does not mean forgetting the past: 2010 is the year the Conegliano Coffee Museum was inaugurated; the story of the history of a company, a sector and a city.

HISTORY

Consortium for the Protection of Traditional Italian Espresso Coffee

The Consortium for the Protection of Traditional Italian Espresso Coffee was established on 15 September 2014. Its main objective is the promotion, enhancement and protection of Traditional Italian Espresso Coffee among operators in the sector and consumers, via the request to UNESCO to obtain recognition as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

HISTORY

Rebranding

Visual communication is the embodiment of form and function, the integration of beautiful and useful. Thus, the new logo symbolically represents the essence and spirit of the company. Simple, essential and distinctive.

HISTORY

Restyling of Coffee Shops

The pioneering format is relaunched, facing a strategic evolution to promote the essence of Made in Italy and to seize new challenges and opportunities, expanding into the European market and beyond.

THE ORIGINS

It is thanks to Vincenzo Caballini from Sassoferrato that Dersut achieves its initial successes in the market. In 1960, he is awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for his industrial prowess.

In 1971 his son Giorgio also joined the company, in turn followed by his daughter Lara, a lawyer, who supports him in management and, since December 2015, also by his second daughter Giulia.
